The Toy Review Archive

When I started this blog over ten years ago, it was basically a typical blog that was pretty freeform. The theme of nostalgia just seemed like a natural topic as most of my interests have been the same my whole life. Over the years, the focus has narrowed. When I first started, I was a bachelor who would write in his spare time. Now, I’m a married father of two and my free time is not what it used to be. As a result, my interests have also narrowed and if you take a look back through this blog starting with the most recent post you will probably see a lot of action figure reviews. Simply put, action figures have been an interest of mine for as long as I can remember. They probably will remain so until I’m gone. And since the figures I buy tend to be of properties I enjoyed even as a child they slot into that nostalgia theme quite well.

It finally dawned on me that I should probably create an index for my many action figure reviews. Right now, if someone comes upon this blog the only way to know if I’ve reviewed something is via the links in the post of a related topic or by way of the search function. The WordPress search function is decent (better than Google), but sometimes a figure can have a weird name or we simply remember things by some other means. Having this index here will be make finding certain works a whole lot easier.

If you came here because of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bucky O’Hare, Batman: The Animated Series, Christmas stuff, or Danzig (one of these things is not like the other…), then know those all have their own individual index pages and any action figure reviews I’ve done relating to those subjects can be found there. For the rest, see below. I’ve tried to find every review I’ve done to include here and I will also try to keep it updated as best I can. I also tried to list my reviews in chronological order based on when they were posted and by property, but it might not be perfect.

Dragon Ball

Gargoyles (NECA Toys)

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Marvel

The Simpsons

Disney

And the Rest…
